Metalworking – Expansion Of The Julius Leber School In Breisach Am Rhein, Fire Doors/Metal Construction Work In Accordance With Din 183. The Julius Leber School In Breisach Am Rhein Is To Be Extensively Renovated And Expanded In Several Construction Phases In The Coming Years. The Subject Of This Tender Is Construction Phases 1 And 2, Which Are To Be Implemented In Around Two Years From Summer 2025: • Advance Measures: Relocation Of Lines • Construction Phase 1: Extension And Expansion Of The Gts (All-Day School With Cafeteria) • Construction Phase 2: New Secondary School Building With Connection To The Existing Building In A Further 3Rd Construction Phase (Not The Subject Of This Tender), The New Primary School Will Be Built. For Accounting Reasons, Construction Phases 1 And 2 Are Advertised In Separate Titles, Even If The Services Are Identical. This Means That Services Or Positions In This Advertisement Will Be Repeated. The Existing School Campus Was Built In The 1960S Based On Designs By The Citys Building Authority. The Original Development Includes, From North To South, A Two-Story Building With A Basement On Breisgaustraße (“Aes Building”), The Three-Story Main Building With A Basement And, Adjacent To It And Connected With Covered Walkways, Three Two-Story Classroom Buildings (“Pavilions 1 To 3”) With A Crawl Space. To The East, The Breisgauhalle Was Built As A Sports Hall, To The West The Former Caretakers House, Which Is Now Privately Owned. The Aes Building And The Pavilions Are Designed As A Modified “Schuster-Type” With A Central Staircase And Adjoining Classrooms. An Underground Supply Corridor Runs From The Central Heating Room And The Service Connection Rooms In The Main Building To The Three Pavilions, In The Direction Of The Breisgauhalle And The Hugo-Höfler-Realschule. Structurally, The Buildings Are Constructed As Flat-Founded Reinforced Concrete Skeleton Buildings With Reinforcing Reinforced Concrete Walls, Masonry Infills And Flat Roofs. Over Time, Partial Maintenance Measures Such As The Replacement Of Windows, New Protective Roof Constructions, Partial Renewal Of The Mep Installations And The Like Took Place. Most Of The Buildings Are Still In Their Original Condition. In The Late 1990S, An Auditorium And A Single-Story Wing With Technical Rooms Were Added. In The 2010S, The Free-Standing All-Day School (Gts) Building And An Exercise Hall Were Finally Built On The Property. Due To The Constantly Increasing Number Of Students, Various Modular Buildings Have Been Built In Recent Years To Accommodate Classrooms And The Like.
