Satakuntas Welfare Area Transfers Patients By Ambulance Mainly Between Operational Units Of Its Own Organization. Some Of The Transfers Are First Care Service Transfers, And Some Are So-Called Non-Urgent Transfers That Do Not Meet The Criteria For First-Aid Service Transfers. The Regional Government Has Decided In Its Meeting On 25 November 2025 That The Welfare Area Will Purchase The Service Of One (1) Transfer Transport Unit As A Purchase Service. The Non-Urgent Transport Ambulance Operates As Part Of The Service Production Of The Acute Services Responsibility Area Of The Special And Hospital Services Domain And Its Internal Primary Care Responsibility Unit. The Primary Task Is To Carry Out Transports Requiring Ambulance Transport Between Operational Units Of The Welfare Area Or To Another Welfare Area, Which Do Not Meet The Criteria Of Transport Transport Belonging To The First Aid Service Of The Health Care Act (1326/2010). These Transports Are Also Produced By The Welfare Areas Own Transfer Transport Unit. The Purchase Service Complements The Operations Of Our Own Transfer Transport Unit.
