Tenders are invited for Ekstrom Library Emergency Generator Replacement #2 The Replacement Of The Existing 350Kw Generator In The Ekstrom Basement With A New 400Kw Generator, Owner Furnished Contractor Installed On The Exterior Of The Building. The Existing Generator,600A Transfer Switch, Fuel Tank, Generator Annunciator, Etc. Shall All Be Demolished And Removed. The Installation Of The New Generator (Owner Furnished), 600A Transfer Switches, And Electrical Work Shall Be Phased To Minimize Downtime For The Emergency Power Distribution To The Library. Work Is Anticipated To Occur Over The Summer Of 2026, And All Work Will Need To Be Closely Coordinated With The University To Ensure Any Downtime Is Appropriately Planned For.
