Scrub-Removal Work - Works On The Improvement Of Grassland Habitat 6230* Through The Implementation Of Mixed Management - Calimani 2026. At The Level Of The Site, The Priority Habitat 6230* Nardus Meadows Rich In Species, On Siliceous Substrates In Mountainous Areas (And Sub-Montane, In Continental Europe) Has An Unfavorable-Inadequate State Of Conservation. On Certain Surfaces, The Presence Of Species Uncharacteristic Of The Habitat Type, Including Invasive Species, Was Identified. The Field Studies, Carried Out In The Period 2013 - 2014, Which Were The Basis For The Elaboration Of The Management Plan Of The Calimani National Park And The Protected Natural Areas Overlapping With It, Approved, Highlighted The Presence Of Disturbance Indicator Species In The Habitat 6230*: Veratrum Album, Rumex Alpinus (Ruderale, Nitrophilous), Cirsium Vulgare, Deschampsia Caespitosa, And The Qualities And Functions Of The Habitat Are Deteriorating. The Appearance Of These Species Uncharacteristic Of The Habitat Type And The Invasion Of The Worthless Grassy Vegetation In The Priority Habitat 6230* Is A Result Of The Improper Maintenance And Exploitation Of The Meadows. The Investment Proposed By The Project Aims At Both The Application Of Optimal Maintenance Methods (Removal / Elimination Of Invasive Species, Of Species Uncharacteristic Of The Habitat Type), As Well As Optimal Use Methods (Mowing The Meadows After Grazing) - Mixed Management. The Works Will Be Carried Out During The Autumn (August - October) After The Grazing Activities Have Ended (For A Period Of 2 Consecutive Years), Thus Ensuring That The Meadow Habitats Grow In Spring In Optimal Conditions. The Work Technology Adopted Will Be Mechanical Combat (Cutting, Mowing). According To The Substantiation Study Drawn Up For Improving The Meadow Habitat 6230* Through The Implementation Of Mixed Management, The Surface On Which Active Conservation Measures Will Be Applied (Mixed Management) Is 109.44 Ha Of Meadow Habitat 6230*, On The Land Owned By The Municipality Of Monor, Located On The Territory Of 3 Uats: - Uat Poiana Stampei: 9.21 Ha - Uat Dorna Candrenilor: 0.63 Ha - Uat Saru Dornei: 99.60 Ha. The Work Stages, Detailed In The Substantiation Study, Are: Verification Of The Intervention Perimeters Preparation Of The Work Surfaces: By Cleaning The Land, Marking The Dangerous Areas, Leveling The Debris, Eliminating Species Uncharacteristic Of The Habitat Type. Execution Of The Actual Works: Removal Of Disruptive Species And Mowing Of Meadow Surfaces (August - October) The Plant Material, Mowed Biomass Remains On The Ground, And The Plant Material Resulting From The Removal / Cutting Of Non-Native Species To Habitat 6230* Will Be Collected And Evacuated. In Addition To The Works Provided For The Improvement Of The Meadow Habitat 6230*, The Provider Will Have The Obligation To Monitor The Effectiveness Of The Active Measures, Which Will Allow The Quantification Of The Effect Of The Application Of These Measures On The State Of Conservation Of The Targeted Habitat. The Quantification Of The Effects Of The Implementation Of The Active Measures Will Be Done By Comparison With The Reference State Before The Application Of The Measures (Before The Intervention), By Year
