The Drk Kliniken Berlin Operates Various It Systems At The Westend And Rz-C Köpenick Locations, Which Will Reach Their End-Of-Service In The Near Future. The Current Oracle Database Platform (Orbis) Runs On Ibm Power9 Servers On Aix And Is Limited By An Impending End Of Service. The Goal Is To Provide A Highly Available, Powerful And Future-Proof Ibm Infrastructure. The First Core Goal Concerns The Strengthening Of Backup & Recovery: The Existing Ibm Storage Protect Solution Is To Be Supported By More Powerful Hardware In Order To Ensure Location-Redundant Replication Of The Backup Data As Well As Additional Offline Backup On Tape To Protect Against Cyber Attacks. The Second Core Goal Is The Renewal Of The Oracle Platform (Orbis): By Migrating From Power9 To Power11, Computing Power And Memory Are Increased, A High-Availability Solution Is Created And Disaster Recovery Is Enabled At The Köpenick Location. The Subject Matter Of The Order Is Divided Into Six Packages. Package 1 Includes Two Ibm Power11 Servers For Orbis/Oracle At Both Locations. Package 2 Includes Two Ibm Power11 Servers For Backup & Recovery, Also At Both Locations. Package 3 Includes A Hardware Management Console For Central Management Of All Power Systems At The Westend Location. Package 4 Includes An Ibm Flashsystem 5600 For Orbis/Oracle At The Köpenick Location With 200 Tib Usable Capacity. Package 5 Includes Two Ibm Flashsystem 5600 Including Expansion For Backup & Restore At Both Locations. Package 6 Includes Two Ibm San Switches For The Köpenick Location.
