Quotation are invited for Ophthalmologist Services for Children Screening 1 Overview: Amel Association International (Amel) is a Lebanese and non-sectarian NGO created in 1979. Amel works through 30 centers, 6 mobile medical units, 2 mobile education units and 1 protection unit, and for more than 40 years has supported the poorest regions of Lebanon, from Beirut and its South Suburbs to Mount Lebanon, Bekaa and South Lebanon. Amel offers accessible services for all in the following fields: food security, health, education, protection, child protection, gender-based violence, livelihood, promotion and protection of human rights, rural development. As part of the Education Programs inclusive approach, the DIRASA project aims to identify and address barriers affecting childrens access to learning. To respond to these needs, the project seeks to recruit a qualified ophthalmologist to conduct vision screenings and assessments in selected schools . 2 Scope of work: The ophthalmologist will be responsible for: Visiting selected schools in Beirut, Mount Lebanon, and Jbeil. Bringing all necessary portable medical equipment to perform on-site assessments. Conducting vision screenings and comprehensive ophthalmological assessments for referred children. Diagnosing visual impairments and determining appropriate corrective measures. Providing recommendations for further medical or specialized referrals when required. Note: The selected supplier must be responsible for Providing the required equipment needed for requested services.
