W8476-267103 - Short Support Bridge Systems . Requirement: This Is For Short Support Bridge Systems (Ssbs) For The Department Of National Defence. The Ssbs Will Provide The Caf With A Commercial Pattern Modular Panel Bridge System In Support Of Domestic Or Expeditionary Operations. The Ssbs Will Support Current And Future Caf Vehicle Fleets, And Common Civilian-Pattern Heavy Trucks To A Minimum Military Load Class (Mlc) 40 For Track And Wheeled Vehicles. Four (4) Years Of In-Service Support (Iss) Is Required Plus Eight (8) Two-Year Options Allowing Canada To Extend The Terms Of The Contract. Only One Successful Offeror Will Be Awarded Both Contracts. Offerors Must Respond To The Requirements For Both Of The Acquisition And The In-Service Support Contracts In Their Offer Submission. There Are Security Requirements Associated With This Requirement. This Procurement Encourages Offerors To Submit An Indigenous Participation Plan (Ipp) As Part Of Their Offer. This Requirement Is Only Open To Canadian Suppliers And Suppliers Of An Applicable Trading Partner. The Crown Retains The Right To Negotiate With Suppliers On Any Procurement.
