The Town Of Tignall Invites Bids For Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements As Set Forth In The Full Invitation To Bid Referenced By This Notice. The Project Consists Of Furnishing All Materials, Equipment, And Labor Necessary To Modify The Existing Wastewater Treatment Plant As Shown On The Drawings And As Specified In The Contract Documents. Work Includes, And Is Not Limited To: Construction Of A New Influent Structure With Manual Bar Screen, Stop Gates, And Overflow Weir; Conversion Of An Existing Aerated Pond To An Equalization Basin; Mechanical Or Hydraulic Dredging Of An Aerated Pond; Rehabilitation Of An Aerated Pond With Installation Of A Lemtec Biological Treatment Process; Repurposing Of The Existing Plant Pump Station To Serve As The Effluent Pump Station; And Construction Of A New Effluent Structure Equipped With A Polishing Reactor, Flow Metering, And Chemical Feed Systems For Chlorination And Dechlorination. The Work Further Includes Yard Piping, Valves, Appurtenances, And All Associated Site Work, Electrical, Structural, And Instrumentation Necessary For A Complete And Functional Installation As Shown On The Drawings And As Specified In The Contract Documents.
