Douglasville ¿ Douglas County Water And Sewer Authority8763 Hospital Drivedouglasville, Georgia 30134Invitation For Bids Contract For 30-Inch Ductile Iron Pipe Installationifb# 316March 18, 2026The Douglasville-Douglas County Water And Sewer Authority (Hereinafter Referred To As The ¿Authority¿) Is Soliciting Competitive Sealed Bids From Qualified Contractors For A Non-Exclusive Two (2) Year Contract For The Installation Of 30-Inch Ductile Iron Pipe For Authority Projects To Consist Of The Successful Contractor Being Required To Install Such Quantities Of 30-Inch Ductile Iron Pipe As May Be Requested By The Authority On An As-Needed Basis. No Minimum Quantity Of Work Is Guaranteed By The Authority Under Said Contract. Each Specific Ductile Iron Pipe Installation Project Under The Contract Shall Be Authorized By The Issuance Of A Separate, Detailed Written Work Order. The Authority Will Secure And Submit All Required Permits And Acquire Any Necessary Easements Prior To The Issuance Of The Work Order For A Project To Commence. The Scope Of Work Includes The Provision By The Successful Contractor Of All Labor, Tools, Equipment, And Supervision Necessary For The Installation Of 30-Inch Ductile Iron Pipe For Authority Projects, Including, But Not Limited To, All Pavement Cutting, Boring And Excavation, Bedding, Tapping, Soil Erosion And Sedimentation Control, Grassing, Landscaping, And All Other Activities Necessary For Proper Pipe Installation In Accordance With The Project Installation Plans For The Applicable Work Order And The Authority¿S Design And Construction Standards. The Authority Will Provide All Pipe And Materials Necessary To Complete Said 30-Inch Ductile Iron Pipe Installation Projects.
