This Notice Is Not A Procurement Notice Or A Request For Tender, But A Request For Information/Market Dialogue To Be Implemented As Part Of The Preparation Of A Future Procurement. The Goal Of This Request For Information Is To Map The Market In Relation To The Acquisition Target, So That The Acquisition Can Be Carried Out In An Appropriate Manner. Background Taustaavtt Is Preparing The Procurement Of Hydrogen In Hydrogen Containers For Research, Either With Its Own Container Or A Rented Container At Bioruukki In Espoo (At. Ruukinmestarintie 2). The Need For Hydrogen Already Exists In Espoo At Tietotie 4C, From Where The Transfer Of Hydrogen-Related Research Activities To Bioruukki Is Estimated To Take Place During Q2-Q3/2026. For Containers, It Is Planned To Build Own Container Points In Bioruukki, From Which The Container Transfer Would Take Place. The Supplier Must Be Able To Demonstrate How To Implement Logistics At The Container Point. The Procurement Contract Period Is Planned To Start In Early 2027. Procurement Objectives And Objectives The Purpose Of The Planned Procurement Is Hydrogen Needed For Research. Vtts Goal Is To Have The Entirety Of At Least Two, Possibly Even Three, Containers Available. Container Size Approx. 20 Feet (Transport Pallet Type), 200–400 Kg Of Hydrogen. When One Container Is Empty, It Would Automatically Switch To Another Full Container. The Filling Of The Empty Container Should Be Done Within 3–5 Days. The Hydrogen Must Be Produced Using Water Electrolysis And The Quality Requirement Is At Least 99.990%. The Current Annual Consumption Is Approx. 3000 Kg/Year. The Estimated Annual Usage In The Future Could Be 10,000 Kg/Year. With This Request For Information, Vtt Requests Answers And Comments From Suppliers Regarding The Purchase, Especially On The Following Questions/Subject Areas:- How To Get Vtt To Use Hydrogen; Is It Possible To Rent Containers And What Kind Of Containers Are Offered, What Size And At What Pressure Does The Hydrogen Come In The Containers, Or Do You Only Offer Bulk Hydrogen In Your Own Container?- What Quality Of Hydrogen Is Available And Are There Several Types Of Hydrogen Available?- At What Price Is Hydrogen Available Delivered All The Way To Espoo/Bioruukki In A Rental Container And/Or To Vtts Own Container?- When Would It Be Possible To Start Delivering Hydrogen?- Is It Possible? Your Rental Container, So That Vtts Own Container Is Also In Use Alongside It?- Can The Rental Container Be Filled At Filling Points Other Than Those Offered By The Supplier?- Is It Possible To Offer Planning, E.G. Design Of A Pressure Reduction Station?- Are There Other Services Related To Hydrogen Delivery, Such As Service And Maintenance? - Is It Possible To Offer A Filling Service And An Automatic Tracking System?- Is It Possible To Offer A Certificate Of Analysis For Every Container Filling? And If So, To Ensure The Quality Of The Hydrogen, Is It Possible To Measure Nitrogen And Water Vapor, For Example, According To Iso Standards Or According To Some Other Standard?
