Infrared Services At This Time Are Broken Down Into Three Different Service Types: Wildfire Infrared Hotspot Detection, Wildfire Infrared Image Classification And Wildfire Infrared Aerial Detection. The Most Prevalent Platforms For This Operation Are Helicopters And Drone Systems. These Services Are Performed Either In Early Mornings Or Overnight (For Example 0000-0500Hrs). Hotspot Detection Is Best Used In The Mop-Up Stages Of A Wildfire; The Data Captured From This Scan Essentially Points Our Ground Resources In The Right Direction In A Very Efficient Manner. As A Result, Fires Are Extinguished In A More Effective And Efficient Manner. Contractors Are Called On An As Needed Basis Under A Rotational Basis.
