As Part Of Mvvs Decarbonization Strategy, A Second River Water Heat Pump System (Wpa2) With A Thermal Output Of Up To 165 Mw Is To Be Installed At The Mannheim Large Power Plant Site. For Their Operation, A Powerful Rhine Water System Is Required That Ensures The Extraction, Pre-Cleaning And Hydraulic Supply Of The Heat Pump Modules. The Rls Lot Provides The Necessary Infrastructure: - Two New River Water Pumps (5.35 M³/S Each) In A Tubular Housing Design, - A New Belt Machine (At Least 6 M³/S Throughput), - New Check Valves, Compensators, Fittings And Instrumentation, - Steel Pipelines To Connect The Pumps With The Dn 1400 Grp Lines Already Laid Outside (Lot Rlb), - Structural Adjustments Such As Support Structures And Guide Systems For The Screening Machine And Shut-Off Devices, - Grp Baffles And Baffles To Calm The Flow, - Dismantling Of The Existing Pumps And Pipelines. The Systems In The Rls Lot Thus Form The Technical Basis For The Extraction And Treatment Of The Rhine Water, Which Is Then Fed To The Heat Pump Modules Via The Gwp Lot.
