The Deliveries Include The Supply Of 18 Operator Desks For The Control Room In Willebroek According To The Design Described In These Specifications. De Vlaamse Waterweg Nv Operates Bridges, Locks And Weirs Remotely From Control Rooms. The Flemish Waterway Has Divided Its Operating Area Into Three Territories Or Regions. Each Region Manages A Number Of Corridors Or Shipping Routes. A Remote Control Center Is Being Developed In Each Territorial Region To Operate These Works Of Art/Objects. In These Remote Control Centers, Operation Is Done From Operator Desks. A Prototype Of These Operator Desks Was Specially Designed For This Purpose In Another Assignment. These Are Already Being Used At A Number Of Locations. The Vlaamse Waterweg Has Already Built 2 Power Stations, One In Evergem For The West Region And One In Hasselt For The East Region. By Analogy, De Vlaamse Waterweg Is Currently Building A 3Rd Control Center In Willebroek (Central Region). This Order Provides For The Supply And Installation Of The Operator Desks For The Remote Control Center Of The Central Region.
