Government Services – Data Collection And Cartographic Representation Of Habitat Improvements In The Shallow Water Area Of ​​Lake Constance Including Technical Protective Measures. For The Interreg Project Fish Species Protection And Cormorant Management On Lake Constance As Part Of The Interreg Alpenrhein-Lake Constance-Hochrhein (For A Description Of The Ap Work Packages, See The Appendix To The Service Description), A Contractor Is Being Sought To Deal With The Issue Of Habitat Improvements In Lake Constance For Endangered Fish Species, Including Technical Protective Measures Against Cormorant Predation. The Preliminary Research Work And The Subsequent Compilation Of The Data Developed On Habitat Improvements, Including Technical Protective Measures If Necessary, Is Carried Out By The Contractor In Coordination And Cooperation With The Project Partners And The Accompanying Expert Group Of The Interreg Project, Committee Representatives From The Igkb, Ibkf And Ibk-U, The Specialist Administrations Involved, Specialist Associations, Local Associations And Ngos. For This Purpose, The Contractor Conducts Individual Discussions, Moderates A Specialist Conference And Two Workshops. With Regard To Structural Habitat Improvements, A Focus Should Be Placed On Natural And/Or Artificial Refuge Habitats For Young Fish (So-Called Fish Scourers On Lake Constance). The Contractor Will Work Out Whether Fishing Rods Should Be Reintroduced Or Strengthened As Important Structural Elements For Habitat Improvement On Lake Constance-Obersee, Who Is Responsible For This And Which Competing User Groups (Nature Conservation, Shipping, Fishing, Recreational Uses) Must Be Included In The Planning. Building On Experiences With The Construction And Maintenance Of Fishing Vessels In The Region, Which Were Collected During A Workshop And A Literature Research, The Contractor Will Develop An Evaluation And Presentation Of How And Whether Fishing Vessels Can Be Additionally Protected Against Cormorant Predation With Structures. The Contractor Will Inquire About The Location Of The Existing Fishing Vessels On Lake Constance-Obersee And Transfer This To A Geodata Set. It Combines The Data With Existing Ones From Lake Constance-Untersee (Thurgis) And Displays Them In Maps (Qgis Project). The Contractor Will Develop A Handout (Pdf) On The Construction And Maintenance Of Fishing Vessels, Which Will Be Created On The Basis Of The Available Basics And Expert Knowledge. The Aim Is To Produce A Cartographic Compilation (Qgis Project) Of Habitat Improvements In The Shallow Water Area Of ​​Lake Constance, Including Fishing Ridges, Which Already Exist, May Already Be In Planning And Need To Be Replanned In The Future Based On The Findings Of This Project.
