Urban Planning Services – Services To Support Urban Development According To The Urban Development Funding Program For Growth And Sustainable Renewal. Due To The Demographic, Social, Economic And Infrastructural Developments Of The Past Years And Decades, The City Ofwachtersbach, Like Other Municipalities, Faces Considerable Challenges For Urban Development. The City Ofwachtersbachs Aim Is To Counteract These Developments. To This End, The City Center And The Historic Town Center In Particular Are To Be Further Developed Into A Sustainable And Resilient Urban Structure, Thereby Compensating For Social Disadvantages, Protecting The Environment, Improving Economic Development Opportunities And Improving The Living, Living And Working Conditions Of The Citizens (Project). To Finance This Goal, On July 1, 2025, The City Ofwachtersbach Applied For Inclusion In The Urban Development Funding Program For Growth And Sustainable Renewal In Accordance With Section 6.2 Of The State Of Hesses Guidelines For The Promotion Of Sustainable Urban Development (Rilise) As Of November 24, 2025. With A Decision Dated November 13, 2025, The Hessian Ministry For Economic Affairs, Energy, Transport, Housing And Rural Areas Included The City Ofwachtersbach In The Urban Development Funding Program. This Means That The City Ofwachtersbach Will Be Able To Receive Funding For The Implementation Of Individual Urban Development Measures Until 2035, Which Will Bring About A Future-Proof, Sustainable And Resilient Urban Development Of The Existing City Structure With The Historic City Center In Order To Improve The Living, Housing And Working Conditions Of Its Citizens. The Grants From The Urban Development Funding Program Growth And Sustainable Renewal Are Intended To Be Used To Implement Urban Development Projects With The Objectives Of Mobility, Housing, Climate Adaptation And Increasing The Quality Of Life. According To The Funding Application Dated July 1, 2025, This Includes, For Example, A Sustainable, Multimodal Transport Infrastructure With A Focus On Public Transport, Cycling And Walking Traffic Should Be Developed, Climate Resilience Should Be Strengthened Through Measures Against Extreme Weather Conditions And Modernization Measures Should Be Carried Out To Create A Broader Range Of Inner-City Living Options. In Order To Be Able To Implement The Specifications From The Urban Development Funding Program For Growth And Sustainable Renewal As Well As Individual Urban Development Measures, The City Ofwachtersbach Requires Appropriate Consulting, Planning And Support Services. The Subject Of The Procedure Is The Award Of A Contract For Services To Accompany Urban Development In Accordance With The Urban Development Funding Program For Growth And Sustainable Renewal. In A First Phase, The Order Includes The Necessary Planning, Consulting, Communication And Support Services To Create An Integrated Urban Development Concept (Isek) In Accordance With Section 6.3 Of Rilise. The Isek Must Define The Goals, Strategies And Individual Measures As Well As A Deadline For The Implementation Of All Individual Measures Intended Therein
