Public-Service Buses – 2026-10 Dvg: Delivery And Maintenance Of Low-Floor City Buses With Fuel Cell Drives. The Project Is Funded By The Federal Ministry Of Transport (Bmv) With A Total Of 14,851,200 Euros As Part Of The Directive For The Promotion Of Alternative Drives In Rail Transport / Buses In Passenger Transport. The Funding Guidelines Are Coordinated By Now Gmbh And Implemented By The Project Management Jülich (Ptj). The Dvg Intends To Convert The Entire Diesel Bus Fleet To Buses With Fuel Cell Drives By 2030. For This Purpose, A Further 29 Articulated Low-Floor City Buses And 26 Solo Low-Floor City Buses With Fuel Cell Drives Are To Be Purchased. The Schedule Calls For A Delivery Of 13 Solo Low-Floor City Buses Preferably By The End Of 2026, A Delivery Of 24 Articulated Low-Floor City Buses By The End Of 2027 And A Delivery Of 13 Solo And 5 Articulated Low-Floor City Buses By August 2028 At The Latest. Dvg Also Intends To Conclude A (Full) Service Contract For An Expected Period Of 2 Years Plus Extension Options Until A Total Mileage Of Approximately 600,000 Km Per Vehicle Is Achieved.
