The Proposed Contract Is For Douglas-Fir Beetle Funnel Trapping In The Kootenay Lake And Arrow Timber Supply Areas (Tsa) With The Objective To Reduce Ibd Populations. It Involves The Set-Up, Maintenance, And Take-Down Of Funnel Traps In Selected Areas Of The Above-Mentioned Tsas.This Includes Weekly Or Bi-Weekly Visits To Each Site For Samples And Emptying Cups. Douglas-Fir Beetle Surveys May Also Be Conducted At Selected Sites Later In Season To Determine Efficacy. The Contractor Will Also Count Beetles And Record Data Gathered As Per Contract Specifications.
