Request for proposals for Business Development Service Providers to Strengthen the Capacity, Competitiveness and Growth Potential of Selected Agribusiness Enterprises under the Project. Execution of Projects Introduction The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a loan of US$32 Million equivalent from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) toward the cost of the Livelihood Improvement Family Enterprise ProjectNiger Delta (LIFE-ND). The project aims to strengthen sustainable agribusiness development and employment opportunities for rural youth and women across the Niger Delta. Building on the achievements of the LIFE-ND incubation model, the project intends to engage qualified Business Development Service (BDS) providers in the deployment of specified services aimed at addressing post-project sustainability challenges by providing a market-oriented, Business Development Services to certain existing agri-businesses and also transition enterprises from incubation to scalable, resilient businesses. The support services will be carried out on a state-wise basis across the states of Abia, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo and Ondo targeting close to 52,000 beneficiaries across the states. The key objective is to engage competent Business Development Service Providers to strengthen the capacity, competitiveness, and growth potential of selected agribusiness enterprises under the Project. 2. Scope of Services Selected BDS providers will deliver structured business development support including but not limited to: Capacity Building and Training Business Planning and Growth Support Market Linkages / Market price information support services Financial linkage/Access to Finance Mentorship and Business Advisory Support Climate smart and Weather information support services Monitoring and Performance Tracking 3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS All submissions must be accompanied with the following documents: i. Evidence of Business registration. ii. Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificates for the last three (3) years (2023, 2024, 2025) expiring on 31st December, 2025. iii. Evidence of Companys financial capability 4. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Instructions regarding preparation and submission of the Proposals are contained in the RFP document. 5. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF BIDS Proposals must be delivered to the address below as stated in the RFP document on/before the 10th of April, 2026 by 10:00 am. Late RFPs will be rejected.
