Tittelgrip Lighthouse Station - Surface Treatment Of Lighthouses . Descriptiongrip Lighthouse Station Is Located Approx. 18 Nm North-West Of Kristiansund In Møre Og Romsdal County. The Lighthouse Was Established In 1888 And Automated In 1977. The Lighthouse Is 44 Meters High And Stands On A 17 Meter High Plinth Of Natural Stone. The Stone Plinth Is Plastered With Lime And Painted White. The Lighthouse Is Protected Under §15 Of The Cultural Heritage Act. Maintenance Work Must Be Carried Out According To Antiquarian Principles. Included In This Project Is The Surface Treatment Of Cast Iron, Including A Plinth Of Natural Stone Against The Terrain And All The Way To The Top Of The Lighthouse, Including The Tower Top. Glass Panes In The Lighthouse Must Be Dismantled And Reassembled After Surface Treatment. There Is No Electricity Or Running Water/Drainage At The Lighthouse Station. The Contractor Must Provide His Own Unit For Power Supply Throughout The Life Of The Project. Water And Wc Must Also Be Brought By The Contractor During The Construction Period. It Is Basically Not Possible To Spend The Night In The Lighthouse Building, It Is Not Approved For Overnight Accommodation. The Coastal Agency Envisages That The Contractor Must Set Up Barracks During The Construction Period For Accommodation. Water For Own Consumption Must Be Brought By The Contractor. All Transport To Grip Must Be By Boat Or Helicopter. It Is The Contractors Responsibility To Ensure The Necessary Permits For Flying To/From And Landing At Grip First Station.
