Tenders are invited for Recruit a Speech and Language Therapist for its Project DIRASA The Rene Moawad Foundation is seeking to recruit a Speech and Language Therapist for its project DIRASA. Project Purpose Access to quality education remains limited for children with disabilities and special educational needs, particularly in vulnerable communities between Tripoli and Minnieh-Denniyeh area. The Dirasa Project is implementing a Special Education Project aimed at improving access to inclusive and quality education for children with disabilities and communication disorders. The Orthophonist will provide specialized speech and language services to children with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties. Job Description: To assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic intervention for children with speech, language, communication, and related developmental disorders, thereby improving their participation, academic performance, and social inclusion. Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language screenings and comprehensive assessments. Identify communication disorders, articulation problems, fluency disorders, voice disorders, and language delays. Prepare assessment reports with recommendations. Develop Individualized Therapy Plans (ITPs) aligned with students Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions. Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed. Work closely with special educators, psychologists, occupational therapists, and teachers. Participate in multidisciplinary case meetings. Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations. Train teachers on communication-supportive strategies. Conduct awareness sessions on speech and language development. Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech and Language Therapy / Orthophony. Competencies: (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) Professional Competencies: Valid professional license. Minimum 3 years of experience working with children with special needs. Experience in NGO or community-based settings is an asset. Providing speech therapy for children with speech delay or autism. Screening children in schools or community centers. Training parents in home-based language stimulation activities. Supporting children with communication difficulties in inclusive education programs. Working with multidisciplinary teams for holistic rehabilitation. Driving License. Duration: The implementation of individual sessions in this Project is starting March 2026 and will be ending in September 2026. Specialists is expected to deliver all the required services within this period.
