Tenders are invited for ENT Specialist (Otolaryngologist). Project Purpose Access to quality education remains limited for children with disabilities and special educational needs, particularly in vulnerable communities between Tripoli and Minnieh-Denniyeh area. The project Dirasa is implementing a health program aimed at improving access to specialized medical services for vulnerable and underserved populations. The René Moawad Foundation is implementing a child-focused program aiming at improving access to specialized mental health services for vulnerable children, including those exposed to trauma, abuse, neglect, displacement, disability, or developmental disorders. Access to quality education remains limited for children with disabilities and special educational needs, particularly in vulnerable communities between Tripoli and Minnieh-Denniyeh area. Job Description: The ENT Specialist will provide comprehensive ear, nose, and throat services within RMF supported facilities, strengthening local capacity and ensuring quality patient-centered care To deliver specialized ENT care including diagnosis, medical and surgical management of ear, nose, throat, head and neck conditions, while contributing to program implementation, reporting, and capacity building in alignment with RMF and donor standards. Responsibilities: Diagnose and manage ENT disorders (otitis media, sinusitis, tonsillitis, hearing disorders, nasal polyps, etc.). Perform ENT surgical procedures (e.g., tonsillectomy, septoplasty, tympanoplasty, minor head & neck surgeries) as facility capacity allows. Provide emergency ENT care (airway management, epistaxis control, foreign body removal). Conduct outpatient consultations and inpatient rounds. Ensure appropriate referral of complex cases. Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records. Adhere to RMF Code of Conduct and safeguarding policies. Follow infection prevention and control standards. Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical practice. Support development and implementation of clinical protocols and SOPs. Contribute to service delivery planning and quality improvement initiatives. Participate in health data collection, monitoring, and reporting. Ensure compliance with donor requirements and RMF policies. Education: MD from a recognized University. Postgraduate specialization in ENT (MS ENT / DLO / FCPS / equivalent). Competencies: (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) Professional Competencies: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in ENT practice. Experience in humanitarian or low-resource settings preferred. Experience in minor and major ENT surgeries. Strong diagnostic and surgical skills. Ability to work in resource-limited environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Cultural sensitivity and humanitarian commitment. Strong documentation and reporting ability. Teamwork and leadership skills. Number of ENT consultations and surgeries performed. Surgical success and complication rates. Timely submission of reports. Number of staff trained and mentoring sessions conducted. Patient satisfaction and quality compliance. Duration: The implementation of individual sessions in this Project is starting March 2026 and will be ending in September 2026. Specialists and doctors are expected to deliver all the required services within this period.
