Minimum seating capacity 6 persons 3. Hand railing installed at bow 4. The vessels must have marine tow connections vessel will require secure attachment points on port and starboard side at the stern to attach a towing bridle. 5. Engines must be protected by a suitable, approved protective cover bar. This must be approved marine grade of stainless steel and must accommodate two Suzuki 140HP twin installation with sufficient clearance. 6. The motor consul panel/s must include fuel, temperature and oil gauges, and a marine grade 12v electrical outlet. The consul colour scheme must be a standard white. 7. All required wiring must be provided, to accommodate a twin installation 140HP Suzuki engines. Wiring must be installed and ready for installation of the engines. Wiring must include wiring from batteries to engines. 8. A suitable hydraulic steering mechanism to be supplied that will accommodate twin Suzuki 140HP installation 9. Marine GPS: Garmin, ECHOMAP UHD2 Touch 62sv WW w/GT54 xdcr with Hydrographic Sonar and built-in transducer (Or equivalent) to provide depth to sea bottom measurement (not a fish finder). 10. Marine VHF Radio: Supplier shall offer a suitable marine radio to the clients satisfaction. 11. The vessel shall be fitted with night lights suitable for night rating and for low level deck lighting. 12. Deck must be gel coated for extra durability 13. An anchor appropriate to the vessel complete with 20 m of chain, 100 m braided nylon rope and danforth type anchor. 14. Lockable storage bins with suitable marine grade locks must be included. 15. Vessel must be supplied with appropriate batteries and fuel pump in suitable housings 16. Vessel quoted must conform to SAMSA safety requirements for small vessels. 17. The colours shall be to City of Cape Town colours. 18. Vessel to be supplied on suitable trailer, with flushable hubs and sealed bearings. 19. An operating manual to be supplied with vessel, together with all required compliance documentation 20. The trailer shall have its first registration and license with respect to the National Road Traffic Act (Act 93 of 1996) (as Amended) in the name of the City of Cape Town. Necessary documentation will be supplied to vendor. 21. Warranty The contractor shall provide the following warranties: Five year limited warranty for the hull structure excluding fair wear and tear and abuse. 12 months for all electronics and other general items excluding abuse and/or fair wear and tear. 12 months against manufacturing defects and poor workmanship. The warranty provision shall exclude user accidents, mishandling, abuse and/or fair wear and tear. 22. Vessel to be delivered to address with the City of Cape Town.
