Descriptiondepartment For Biobanks At Fhi Wishes To Enter Into A Framework Agreement For The Purchase Of Dna Kits For Manual Extraction From Blood Samples (1-10 Ml) Using The Salting Out Method. The Department Receives A Small Number Of Samples, Some By Post And Some Samples Sent On Dry Ice. It Can Therefore In Some Cases Take Time Before The Samples Are Extracted. We Want A Solution That Works For Both Fresh And Frozen Samples, And For Samples Where Plasma Has Been Pipetted Off And Not. The Client Wants To Use The Equipment That Is Currently Available In The Department, Such As A Centrifuge (Maximum G On The Centrifuge Is 5000G) For 15 And 50 Ml Tubes, And A Heating Cabinet/Heating Block For Heat Treatment. If The Kit Requires Additional Equipment Other Than That Described Above, Please Specify This In The Offer. The Departments Need For Kit Varies Due To Projects Of Different Sizes And Over Different Periods. Estimated Need Is Approx. 700 Extractions Of 10 Ml Of Blood In 2026, And Between 300-500 Per Year In Subsequent Years. Estimated Value Is Nok 350,000 Over 4 Years, But The Agreement Has A Maximum Value Of Nok 1.25 Million.
