On The Site Of The Former Transmitter Facility On The Outskirts Of Jülich And In The Immediate Vicinity Of The Aachen University Of Applied Sciences Campus, A Science Park And Innovative Commercial Area With Around 52 Hectares Of Area Are Currently Being Built (Hereinafter: “Brainergy Park Jülich”). The Client Is Responsible For Supplying The Properties In Brainergy Park With Heat. The Buildings Are To Be Supplied With Heat Via An Almost Co₂-Neutral District Heating System. This Water-Filled Lowex Network Is Powered By A Central Energy Center That Provides Cooling In Summer And Heat In Winter. The Heat Is Provided Decentrally By Heat Pump Systems Housed In Containers. The First Section Of The Civil Engineering Work “Construction Roads, Utility Trenches, Slab Foundations” Was Already Completed At The Time The Contract Was Awarded. The Subject Of This Award Procedure (2Nd Construction Phase) Are The Following Services: - Supply Trenches For Heat, Water And Power Lines As Well As Empty Pipes And Micro Pipes - Laying Of Empty Pipes Including Cable Pull Shafts - Setting Sleeves For Light Poles - Drainage Channels And Shafts - Infiltration System (Infiltration Trough With Trenches) - Unbound Base Layers For Traffic Areas - Slab And Individual Foundations - Stand Areas For Walk-In Stations Of The Energy Supply (Transformers, Medium-Voltage Transfer Station), With Raised Floor.
