Tenders Are Invited For New Construction Football Academy Fc Twente / Heracles

The Joint Academy Twente/Heracles Is Currently Housed In The Main Building Of The Fbk Stadium In Hengelo, Together With Fc Twente, Mpm And The Municipality Of Hengelo. Due To The Strong Growth Of The Academy, The Current Accommodation No Longer Meets The Spatial And Functional Needs. Emergency Units Have Been Installed To Temporarily Accommodate This Growth. However, These Do Not Provide A Sustainable Solution. That Is Why Construction Of A New Dedicated Academy Building On The Fbk Site Will Start In 2026. The New Building Must Be Completed In Time In June 2027, So That It Can Be Used During The Fbk Event 2027. After Completion Of The New Building And The Subsequent Move Of Fc Twente To Enschede, The Renovation Of The Existing Main Building Of The Fbk Stadium Will Start. This Renovation Will Start Immediately After The Fbk 2027 And Must Be Completed By June 2027 At The Latest. This Phased Approach Guarantees The Continuity Of Sports And Training Activities And Sustainably Improves The Quality Of Future Housing.
