Tenders are invited for Provision of Car Hire Services on Framework Agreement Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method and is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers. Tenders will be awarded on basis of Framework Agreement and the number of suppliers/contractors shall not be less than seven alternative vendors. 3. The evaluation criteria is provided under section iii (qualification and criteria) and the estimate of the total volume of the procurement expected during the period of framework agreement is one thousand vehicles. 4. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours at the address given below during normal working hours on Monday to Friday between 0800hrs to 1700hrs (East Africa Time). 5. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained electronically free of charge from www.parliament. go.ke or the PPIP portal, www.tenders.go.ke. 6. All Tenders must be accompanied by an Original tender security (Bid bond) of Kenya Shillings Fifty Thousand Only (Kshs 50,000); in form of a Bank guarantee from a bank licensed and operating in Kenya or an Insurance Company approved by Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) and listed by Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), valid for 154 days shall be submitted by prospective bidders.
