Security, Fire-Fighting, Police And Defence Equipment – Remote Controlled Sonic System. The Main Scope Of This European Tendering Procedure, Which Will Be Specified In The Draft Agreement, Consists Of The Following: The Procurement Of The Remote Controlled Sonic Weapon System (Sws) With The Following Functional Requirements: The System Must Function As An One-Way Communication (Hailing) Device For Surrounding Shipping And Be Capable Of Deterring Incoming (Potential) Threats And/Or Disorienting A Crew Of A Possible Threat. All To Be Done By High Volume Tone, Operator Voice And/Or Prerecorded Messages. The Sws Must Be Compatible With Integration Into The Combat Management System (Cms) And Integrated Mission Management System (Imms) For Remote Control And With The Ships Internal/External Communication System (Eics) For Voice, Pre-Recorded Messages And Tone. The Sws Camera Feed Must Be Viewable Via The Cms Using The Ships Closed Circuit Television (Cctv) Video System.
