Reliable instrument that offers flexibility and customisation of sensors. Typical measurement parameters will include Dissolved Oxygen, pH, ORP (oxidation reduction potential or Eh redox potential), conductivity, turbidity, temperature and Total Ammonia. The instrument needs to be mobile and handheld and must have digital smart sensors that are easy to calibrate. The instrument is to be water proof with a rugged and properly covered case so that it is robust (and impact resistant) under the severe field and weather conditions including a wide range of operating and storage temperatures ranging from sub-zero up to 50 degrees Celsius. Must be capable of being deployed in fresh and saline water. The instrument needs to have a rechargeable battery and offer connectivity to a computer for easy download of data with a built-in USB and micro SD port. The instrument is to have an input keypad and LCD display for instant visualisation of data and adequate memory capacity to store data. The instrument should be easy to clean and maintain. The instrument must be fitted with a cable of at least 60 metres long that can be replaced by the user as and when required. As an additional feature, the instrument should have a flow through cell attachment for continual water parameter readings. The instrument must at least have a three (3) year warranty with additional warranty for the sensors and assembly cable. Demonstration should be provided to the user prior to use.
