The Swedish Road Administration (Svv) Has A Growing Need For Operationally Reliable, Scalable And Sustainable Alternative Power Supplies For Roadside Installations Along The Road Network Where There Are Currently No Arrangements For Electricity And Networks. We Are Now Inviting Dialogue To Get Input On Solutions. A Significant Proportion Of Locations With Important Technical Installations Lack Access To A Landline/230 V, Or Need Standby/Reserve Power In The Event Of A Power Cut. Alternative Power Supplies Must Enable The Establishment And Operation Of Critical Systems For Traffic Safety, Monitoring And Information Without Expensive And Intrusive Infrastructure Development. It Is A Goal To Establish Solutions That Cover A Wide Range Of Power Needs, From Small Sensors To Heavier Monitoring Systems At Locations Without Existing Infrastructure, Where There Is A Lack Of Stable And Flexible Power Supply. It Is Desirable To Have A Portfolio Of Solutions That Cover A Wide Range Of Effects, With Integrated Monitoring/Warning And A Standardized Api For Condition Data, And Which Can Be Adapted To Norwegian Conditions All Year Round.
