Køge Vand A/S Has Decided To Supply Softer Drinking Water In Køge. After Carrying Out A Feasibility Study And Market Coverage, It Has Been Decided That The Drinking Water Must Be Softened Using Carix™ (Carbon Dioxide Regenerated Ion Exchanger), Which Uses Co2 For Softening. In Connection With The Establishment Of The New Softening Plant At Køge Vandværk On Vasebækvej In Køge, There Is A Need To Divert The Water From The Existing Waterworks, Fruedal Vandværk, To The Waterworks On Vasebækvej. This Must Be Done By Establishing Approx. 5 Km Of New Ø315 Mm Raw Water Line And An Approx. 7.2 Km Of New Ø315 Mm Drinking Water Line. In Addition, Approx. 100 Meters Of New Ø110 Mm Drinking Water Line In The Same Route As Mentioned Above And With Connection In Vordingborgvej, Herfølge. From The Waterworks On Vasebækvej, A Ø90 Mm Flushing Water Pressure Line Must Be Established In The Same Route As The Drinking Water Line, Approx. 800 Meters Long With Discharge To Recipient, Ellebækken South. This Wire Must Be Relined Approx. 600 Meters In Existing Ø315 Mm Pe Cable. A Ø160 Mm In Approx. 1,500 Meters Of Eluate Line In Existing Ø300 Cast Iron/Eternite Line With Discharge To Recipient, Køge Å. Approximately 1,200 Meters Of Conduit For Fiber Must Also Be Established Along With Other Cables. The Construction Work Takes Place As A Starting Point From Vasebækvej In Køge, Where Køge Vand A/S Is Located, To Vordingborgvej In Herfølge, To The Railway Track Between Ankerstræde In Tureby And Vordingborgvej In Herfølge And To Søndre Alle In Køge.
