The Finnish Museum Agency / National Museum (Procurement Unit) Is In The Process Of Acquiring A Cnc Machining Center (Device) For The Woodworking Shop At The National Museum Of Finland For Processing Pieces Made Of Wood And Wood-Like Materials. The Device Is Acquired So That The Procurement Unit Can Meet The Requirements Of Special And Custom-Made Furniture And Structures Produced As Carpentry For Exhibitions And Events At All Sites Of The National Museum Of Finland. The Aim Is To Make The Construction And Dismantling Of Various Events And Exhibitions More Efficient At The Sites In Question, And This Kind Of Activity Places Special Demands On The Quality And Properties Of The Products Produced As Carpentry, Such As The Reusability Of The Furniture And The Efficiency Of Storage. The Operation Of The Procurement Units Woodworking Shop Is Comparable To The Operation Of 6–10 People, I.E. A Small/Medium-Sized Carpentry Company, Which Mainly Manufactures Various Custom-Made Furniture And Construction Carpentry Products. In Addition To The Device, The Scope Of The Acquisition Includes Delivery And Installation Of The Device, Post-Installation User Training, Warranty And Post-Warranty Maintenance Service. The Object Of The Procurement Is Described In More Detail Below In This Call For Tenders And In Its Attachments. In The Schedule, It Must Be Noted That The Installation Of The Device Is Done During The Construction Contract. For The Reason Mentioned Above, The Procurement Unit Reserves The Right To Change The Schedule Of The Dates Presented In The Request For Tenders. The Procurement Unit Will Organize A Demonstration Of The Installation Site For The Bidders Between 23.03.2026 And 27.03.2026. Advance Registration Is Required To Visit The Site, Which Must Be Done By March 20, 2026 By E-Mail To [email protected]. The Schedule Is Agreed With All Providers Separately. Participation In The Presentation Of The Installation Site Is A Prerequisite For Submitting An Offer.
