The District Of Clearwater (Owner) Invites Proposals, Through This Negotiated Request For Proposal (Nrfp), From Proponents For Theriprap Re-Construction At Old North Thompson Highway Bridgeproject. The Objective Of This Project Is To Replace The Existing Riprap With Suitable Material That Will Protect The Bridge Abutments In A Major Flow Event. In General, The Base Proposal Submitted By Proponents Shall Include The Following Work: Excavation And Removal Of Existing Riverbank Materials, Including Construction Of Temporary Access Ramps To The Areas Of Work Placement Of The Riprap And Other Specified Fills Grading And Site Restoration Removal, Reinstatement Or Restoration Of Impacted Utilities And Infrastructure Compliance With Environmental Permitting And Monitoring Requirements, Including Protection Of The Environment As Per The Construction Environmental Management Plan (Cemp) Compliance With Archaeological Permitting And Monitoring Requirements Provide Assistance To The Owner’S Design Engineer For Finalizing The Detailed Design As Per The Proponent’S Construction Methodology And Accepted Innovations Or Value-Added Items Optional Site Meeting Proponents Are Invited To View The Site And Meet With The Owner And The Owner’S Representative On March 18, 2026 From 10:00 Am – 11:00 Am. Proponents Are Requested To Inform The Owner’S Representative If They Plan To Attend The Site Meeting. Any Questions Answered In These Meetings Will Be Summarized And Provided In An Addendum For All Proponents To Review. Proponents May Visit The Site At Any Time To View The Site Conditions On Their Own. This Is Not A Mandatory Meeting. This Meeting Will Be The Only Opportunity For Prospective Proponents To Meet With The Owner. If The Proponent Is Unable To Attend The Site Meeting At The Specified Time, Additional Meeting Times May Be Available On March 18, 2026 At The Discretion Of The Owner And The Owner’S Representative.
