Tenders are invited for Supply of Bracing Straps ShelterBox would like to invite competent companies to submit bids to enter into long-term framework agreements for the supply of bracing straps (also known as hurricane strap, metal strap, hoop iron, builders band, bracing, restraint strap, perforated band, timber frame-strap and more) used by ShelterBox globally. The bid is divided into 2 lots. Bidders can submit an offer for one or both lots. Material: Galvanised steel coating 275 g/m² Minimum tensile strength: 300 MPa Dimensions Width: Acceptable range 20mm 32mm. Length: 30metre roll +/- 10% (preferred). Thickness: minimum 0.6mm (G25), maximum 1.16mm (G19) Design / Construction: Coiled strapping with holes to allow for fixing with nails and screws. Should ensure strong corrosion resistance, be safe and easy to handle, and be possible to cut with tools such as Tin Snips, bend, and form around building components to suit varied installation needs. Format consistent with standard humanitarian or constructiongrade bracing straps. Suppliers to provide details of hole spacing, staggering and pattern as per their product. 2 Bracing Strap Supplier Standard Specification (Alternative Offer) ShelterBox will also accept supplier standard or offtheshelf products that do not exactly match Lot 1. Suppliers must: List their closest standard product(s), including: Material and coating Tensile strength Width, thickness, length Hole pattern Conformance to any national/international standards Identify where their standard product diverges from Lot 1.
