Project Purpose Good Neighbors Cambodia places strong emphasis on improving community health, particularly the wellbeing of registered children (RC) in the sponsorship program. The organization works to ensure that RC and their families can access affordable and quality health services within their community. The Snuol Referral Hospital, the main public hospital in the area, is a critical facility where RC and their families seek care when they are ill. However, direct observation has revealed that the hospital lacks sufficient space for patients, especially outpatients who often have no designated area to wait for services. With the number of patients increasing daily, this shortage of space has forced some families to turn to private health services, which are costly and worsen their living conditions. Following discussions with the hospital committee, Good Neighbors Cambodia (GNC) identified the construction of a new hospital building as a top priority. Together, GNC and the hospital agreed to proceed with the project, which will significantly improve healthcare services for children and community members in Snuol district. 3. Scope of Work 3.1.
