Accurate attitude motion characterisation is essential for the identification and prioritization of suitable removal targets, the planning and execution of close-proximity operations, and the engineering design of servicing spacecraft, including the development of effective capture mechanisms.The Phase A shall develop an initial concept and shall be concluded with the Preliminary Requirements Review (PRR) as a preparationfor possible further development in the Space Safety Programme.The procurement will be open competition to all industrial entities, ensuring an open competitive approach preparing further steps.
