Tunnel Houtenhoek Is Located On The Provincial Road Between Helmond And Deurne. The Tunnel Is Located Under The Bakelseweg In Deurne. Since 2020, Various Asphalt Damage Has Occurred In The Tunnel. From 2022 Onwards, Studies Have Been Carried Out Into The Technical Condition Of The Tunnel, With The Aim Of Determining The Cause Of The Asphalt Damage. The Investigations Have Shown That The Tunnel Floor Is The Cause Of The Recurring Asphalt Damage. The Coverage Of The Concrete Is Too Little, Especially Around The Transitions Between The Tunnel Sections. The Reinforcement Has Also Become Exposed In Some Places. With This Assignment, Og Wants To Constructively Restore The Coverage And Prevent Asphalt Damage In The Future.
