The Expansion Of The Øresund Motorway And The Establishment Of Overtaking Tracks At Kalvebod, Sund & Bælt (And Other Companies In The Group) Need Assistance To Solve The Task Regarding The Handling Of Surplus Soil From Excavation Works. The Task Will Usually Include Receiving, Handling And Final Disposal Of Excavated Soil, Including Treatment, Cleaning And/Or Disposal, In Accordance With Applicable Environmental Legislation, Authority Requirements And Approvals. Transport Of Soil To And From The Construction Site Or Reception Facility Is Not Part Of The Task As A Rule. Depending On The Specific Project, The Task May Include One Or More Of The Following Sub-Tasks: Receiving Soil At An Approved Facility Or Receiving Site, Sampling, Analysis And Classification Of Soil (E.G. Clean, Slightly Contaminated Or Contaminated Soil), Temporary Storage Of Soil In Accordance With Applicable Regulations, Treatment And/Or Cleaning Of Soil With A View To Recycling Or Proper Disposal, Depositing Or Recovery Of Soil At An Approved Facility, Documentation And Reporting, As Well As Professional Advice Regarding The Choice Of Handling, Treatment Method And Compliance With Authority Requirements. For Certain Projects, The Assignment May Include All Of The Above Services, While For Other Projects Only Individual Sub-Tasks Will Be Needed, E.G. Reception And Deposit Only.
