The Object Of Activity Of The Autonomous Regime River Administration Of The Lower Danube Galati Consists In Ensuring The Minimum Navigation Depths Through Maintenance Dredging, Ensuring Coastal And Floating Signage, Carrying Out Topo-Hydrographic Measurements, Carrying Out Maintenance Works And Hydrotechnical Construction Repairs To Ensure Navigation Conditions, Ensuring The Piloting Of Maritime And River-Maritime Vessels On The Danube Sector Between Sulina And Brăila Road And In The Ports Located In This Sector, Making Available To All Users Of The Naval Transport Infrastructure, As Well As Fulfilling The Obligations Of The Romanian State From International Conventions And Agreements, To Which Romania Is A Party And Which Were Entrusted To It By Delegation Of Competence By The Ministry Of Transport And Infrastructure, In Accordance With The Legislation In Force.
