The Order Concerns A Framework Agreement For The Supply Of Tocilizumab Iv For All Hospitals Of The Ghent Hospital Network (Uz Gent - Az Sint-Lucas & Volkskliniek Gent - Az Jan Palfijn Gent And Az Oudenaarde, Cf. Appendix C). This Government Assignment Is An Occasional Joint Assignment. The Quantities Stated Are The Total Probable Quantities Over A Period Of 1 Year, For All The Hospitals Specified In Appendix C. These Quantities Are Indicative. They Do Not Bind The Ordering Authorities In Any Way. The Supplier Cannot Claim Compensation If These Expected Quantities Are Not Reached. These Quantities Will Be Purchased Via Separate Orders. Duration: This Assignment Has A Term Of 1 Year And Can Be Tacitly Extended Three Times For A Period Of 1 Year. After A Term Of 4 Years, The Assignment Ends By Operation Of Law. The Decrease Is Estimated At 265,200 Mg Per Year For All 4 Hospitals Together. The Maximum Order Amount For This Assignment Is Eur 300,000 Excluding Vat Per Year. If The Contractor Delivers The Goods To A Location Other Than That Stated In The Order Documents Or As Stated On The Order Form, The Board Reserves The Right To Impose A Special Penalty Of 10% Of The Order Amount With A Ceiling Of € 150.00 Excluding Vat. After All, The Treatment And Care Of Patients Require Continuity, So That In The Context Of Patient Safety, The Continuous Supply Of Goods Is Necessary Without The Risk Of Losing Time Due To The Organization Of A Government Contract. The Additional Cost And By Extension All Costs Resulting From The Order With A Third Party Will Be Charged To The Contractor. The Additional Costs Resulting From A Stock Shortage Will Be Charged To The Contractor. If The Contractor Defaults On A Product And There Is No Refundable Alternative Available In Belgium And An Alternative Is Therefore Purchased Abroad For Which A Refund Is Not Provided, This Will Be 100% Charged To The Contractor.
