Work Detail
Architectural And Related Services – General Planning Services For The Extension Of The Bocholt Waterworks In 46395 Bocholt Liedern. The Client Intends To Award General Planning Services For The Expansion Of The Bocholt Waterworks In 46395 Bocholt Liedern. Bocholter Energie- Und Wasserbedarf Gmbh (Bew) Operates The Drinking Water Supply For The City Of Bocholt (Approx. 72,000 Inhabitants). Three Water Extraction Plants And Two Waterworks Are Operated To Provide Drinking Water. The Raw Water From The Schüttensteiner Wald And Liedern Water Sources Is Treated Together In The Liedern Waterworks. The Process Steps Are: Nitrification, Iron Removal, Deacidification, Rapid Decarbonization, Turbidity Filtration And Residual Manganese Removal. The Amount Treated In The Liedern Waterworks Corresponds To Around 85% Of The City Of Bocholts Needs. Contaminants For The Substance Group Of Per- And Polyfluorinated Alkyl Compounds (Pfas) Were Detected In The Raw Water From The Schüttensteiner Wald And Liedern Water Sources. The Bew Has Decided To Plan An Additional Processing Stage To Remove These Substances And To Install It Downstream Of The Existing Processing Plant. A Filtration Stage With Activated Carbon Is Being Considered Because The Main Contamination Is With Long-Chain Pfas And The Well-Functioning Existing Treatment Plant Should Continue To Be Operated. The Contractor Is To Provide General Planning Services For The Extension Of An Additional Processing Building To The Existing Processing Building. The Process Engineering System Should Be Connected Between The Second Filter Stage (Turbidity Filtration) And The Drinking Water Storage And Be Designed For A Maximum Treatment Volume Of 1000 M³/H. Sub-Distributions Must Be Created For The Electrical System, Which Are Fed From The Existing Low-Voltage Main Distribution And Supply All Additional System Parts. The Automation Must Be Expanded To Include Redundant, Highly Available Controllers That Fully Control These Parts Of The System And Still Enable Complete Filtration Performance If One Of The Redundant Controllers Fails. Furthermore, Integration Into The Existing Factory Automation And The Process Control System Must Be Taken Into Account. The Client Has Already Had A Service Phase Drawn Up According To Hoai (Lph) 1 - 2 In The Service Profiles Of Engineering Structures And Technical Equipment, Which Provides The Basis For Further Planning. The Client Will Provide Interested Applicants With The Previous Planning Upon Request. Interested Applicants Can Only Request These Planning Documents Via Applicant Message Via The Website Mentioned In Section 5.1.11. When Concluding The Contract, The Client Intends To Initially Access The Service Phases According To Hoai (Lph) 1 - 3 In The Structural Planning Service Profile And Lph 3 In The Other Service Profiles. The Lph 4 - 8 Will Initially Only Be Accessed Optionally And, If Necessary, Separately According To Planning Areas In Stages That Need To Be Further Developed And Depending On The Decision.
