This Request For Proposals (The “Rfp”) Is An Invitation By Parkland County (The “County”) To Prospective Proponents To Submit Proposals For An Oil And Gas Infrastructure Analysis For The Acheson Area Structure Plan Phase 2 Update, As Further Described In Section A Of The Rfp Particulars (Appendix A) (The “Deliverables”). An Oil And Gas Infrastructure Study Is To Be Completed On The Constrained Lands Within Bylaw 2020-13 Acheson Industrial Area Structure Plan (“Asp”). The Objectives Of This Study Are To Outline The Requirements For The Decommissioning Of Oil And Gas Infrastructure And Any Other Potentially Contaminated Area Located Within The Project Boundary (See Map), Including:•Summarizing Previous Analytical Findings;•Describing Current Site Conditions And Infrastructure;•Providing An Overview Of Site Decommissioning Activities Including Input For Closure To Contamination Concerns;•Calculating The Cost Estimates To Complete All Aspects Of Site Decommissioning; And •Providing An Approximate Timeline For The Decommissioning Process.Parkland County Is A Rural Municipality Located Immediately West Of Edmonton. Covering An Area Of 256,802 Hectares (634,571 Acres), It Is One Of The Largest In Size And One Of The Highest Populated Of All Rural Municipalities In Alberta. Parkland County Has Grown To A Community Of Over 30,000 People And Has Seen Generations Of Families Continue To Enjoy Country Living.
