Expression of Interest for Consulting Services for Supporting Provincial GeoSpatial Data Sharing Platform (GDSP) The overall objective of this assignment is to support the World Bank in assisting the Vinh Long Province and VLUDCRP PMU design, develop, and deploy a secure, interoperable, and sustainable provincial GeoSpatial Data Sharing Platform (GDSP) that enables efficient geospatial data sharing and use across government agencies in Vinh Long Province, in alignment with national digital government and NSDI standards. Specific Objectives The specific objectives of the assignment are to: 1. Provide advice on designing a scalable, standardsbased architecture for the GDSP. 2. Support developing detailed hardware, network, and storage specifications for procurement. 3. Provide input in developing the GDSP platform and associated services. 4. Assist in standardizing, digitizing (where required), and integrating priority geospatial datasets to support FRMIS and other sectoral applications. 5. Help identify and build institutional and technical capacity of provincial staff to operate and maintain the GDSP. 6. Support the establishment of a provincial regulatory and governance framework aligned with NSDI for geospatial data sharing. Overview of the Assignment · Geographical scope: A functioning GDSP that covers an area of approximately 4,782 hectares of Vinh Long City and potential to expand throughout the Vinh Long Province (considering the merger of Ben Tre and Tra Vinh provinces to Vinh Long in 2025). · Thematic scope: Support the development and operationalization of GDSP and integration with FRMIS. · Duration: 15 months, approximately 12 months for pilot system development and 3 months for system testing and integration with FRMIS (with a possibility of extension if the VLUDCRP gets extended beyond 2027) Tender Link : https://wbgeprocure-rfxnow.worldbank.org/rfxnow/public/advertisement/6646/view.html
