Tenders Are Invited For Free Community Physical Activity Service For Adults With Mental Ill Health

The Requirement Is To Commission A Community-Based Physical Activity Service That Provides Free, Inclusive And Accessible Sports And Movement Sessions Specifically For Adults (17+) Experiencing Mental Ill-Health, Including Those With Low Mood, Social Isolation, Anxiety, Depression Or Severe Mental Illness. The Intended Benefit Is To Strengthen Early-Intervention, Non-Clinical Mental Health Support In The Community, Improve Physical And Mental Wellbeing Outcomes, And Reduce Pressure On Statutory Services Through Preventative, Place-Based Support. Accordingly, The Contract Sought Is A Multi-Year Commissioning Arrangement For The Delivery Of A Structured Programme Of Weekly Physical Activity Sessions Across Bracknell Forest, Open To All Eligible Residents, And Procured Through An Open And Competitive Process, Not Tailored To Any Specific Provider.
