City Of Prince George (The “City) Is Seeking Proposals From Qualified Professionals To Provide Engineering Consulting Services To Assess And Remediate Ongoing Dehumidification Issues At The Kin Centre Arenas, Located At 2181 Ospika Boulevard In Prince George, British Columbia. The Kin Centre Is A Multi-Arena Facility Comprising Three Ice Surfaces That Accommodate A Variety Of Activities, Including Hockey, Figure Skating, Lacrosse, In-Line And Ball Hockey, Tournaments, And Trade Shows.The Scope Of Work Includes Identifying The Design And Engineering Requirements Necessary To Correct And Maintain Acceptable Humidity Levels Within Arenas 2 And 3. The Successful Proponent Will Be Responsible For Completing All Required Engineering Assessments And For Preparing Detailed Designs, Construction Drawings, And Technical Specifications In Support Of The Project Objectives.The Contract Will Be Divided Into Three Phases.Milestonecompletion Date Phase 1 – Concept Design And Class D Cost Estimatejuly 15, 2026*Phase 2 – Detailed Design And Class B Cost Estimateseptember 17, 2026*Phase 3 – Tender Process And Construction Supporttbd*Phases 2 And 3 Are Contingent Upon The Consultant’S Performance And Approval Of The Project Budget.
