Pirkanmaas Regional Crematorium Will Be Built In The Vatiala Cemetery Area, In The Immediate Vicinity Of The Current Crematorium Building. The Old And New Crematorium Are Connected By An Outdoor Canopy, Which Serves As A Reception Area For The Deceased. The New Crematorium Building Will Be Built According To The Principles Of A Production Facility, Enabling A Standardized And Routine Work Process. The Premises Of The Building Consist Of A Cold Room For The Deceased, A Furnace Room, An Ash Processing Room, A Cockpit, Break Rooms, Technical Rooms And Other Auxiliary Rooms That Support Operations. The Main Social And Break Rooms For The Staff Are Located In The Existing, Old Crematorium Building, And No Changes Will Be Made To Them In Connection With The Project. Now The Parties That Supervise The Construction And Building Engineering Works Are Being Procured For The Construction Project. The Duties Of The Supervisors Include Participating In Design Control And, Later During Construction, Performing Site Supervision Tasks For Construction And Building Engineering Works. The Project Will Be Implemented According To The Objectives Of Rakennustietos Environmental Classification, Which Brings Its Own Characteristics To The Project.
