The Regional District Of Okanagan-Similkameen (Rdos) Is Seeking Proposals From Qualified Proponents To Provide Updated Orthophotography And Digital Elevation Models (Dem) And Comparison To Previous Models For The Active Face Of Rdos Operated Landfills. Updates Of The Dem Are Required Annually (May). The Term Of The Agreement Shall Be Three (3) Years, With The Option Of Extending The Agreement With Two (2) 1-Year Extensions. The Purpose Of This Project Is To Update The Rdos Evacuation Route Plan And Create Distinct Plans For The Municipalities Including Associated Resources By Incorporating Up-To-Date Community Information, As Well As New Data From Studies, Surveys, And Response Experiences Provided By Local Authorities And Provincial Ministries. The Updated Plan Will Support Local Governments And First Responders In Coordinating Evacuations, Managing Emergency Responses, And Communicating Critical Information To Residents In A Timely And Effective Manner.
