To Achieve This, A Precision Polishing System Is Required That Can Polish Iii-V Materials To A Surface Roughness As Sub-Nanometer As Possible (Rms < 1 Nm) And Offers Excellent Total Thickness Deviation (Ttv) Control And High Reproducibility. Furthermore, With Such A Polishing System, It Would Be Possible To Realize Iii-V/Si-Based Quantum Photonic Integrated Circuits (Qpics) Through Direct Bonding.
