Expression of Interest for Nurture Project is expected to enter its second phase from 20272030 The project is implemented by HEKS/EPER and Caritas Switzerland, and co-funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). The project enhances the climate resilience of smallholder farmers using a systemic approach that responds to interconnected financial, technical, institutional, and informational barriers that currently hinder farmers from advancing toward more resilient livelihoods. The projects overall goal is that vulnerable smallholder farming households and their communities are more resilient to climate change and improve incomes through promoting climate-resilient agroecological farming systems. Nurtures second phase has a strategic focus on 4 main intervention pillars (IP). IP1: Water governance & irrigation management IP2: Climate resilient agriculture IP3: Entrepreneurship IP4: Access to finance Eligibility Be legally registered in Cambodia or in the region. Not be affiliated with any government entity or structure. Businesses must demonstrate a capacity for co-investment (ratio 1.5 times or 1:1 co-investment) Companies with an existing client base and willing to expand operations to Nurtures target areas. Your business must offer a quality product, service, or business model that directly enhances the agricultural climate resilience and/or water governance of smallholder farmers Be willing to pilot/scale solutions in the proposed geographical regions Business at growth-to-expansion stage will be given preference Be willing to engage in public-private partnerships that support benefit-sharing and enhance local livelihoods Be willing to share operational and performance data (e.g. outreach, adoption, sales) for learning and accountability Youth and women-led businesses, as well as companies that demonstrate inclusive practices, are strongly encouraged to apply. Eligible applicants must then submit a complete EoI package, including a Technical and Financial Form. The deadline for submission is 5:00 PM (Phnom Penh time) on March 16th, 2026. Late submissions will not be considered.
