Competition Task The City Of Raisio Organizes An Open Idea Competition In Order To Find Innovative, Versatile And Urban Structural Alternatives For The Long-Term Development Of The Area. We Are Looking For Open-Minded Solutions And Bold Ideas That Strengthen The Attractiveness Of The Area, Which Will Positively Affect The Vitality Of The Entire Review Area As Well As The Vitality Of The City Of Raisio And The Turku Region. The Aim Of The Competition Is To Obtain Versatile And Further Developmentable Ideas As Guidelines For The Physical And Functional Development Of The Area, As Well As A Comprehensive Overall Concept As The Basis For The Phased Development Of The Area. So That The Proposals Are Not Limited To The Planning Of The Areas Land Use And Structures, The Teams Participating In The Competition Are Expected To Have A Multidisciplinary Composition. Competition Area The Competition Area Is Located On The East Side Of The Center Of Raisio, Right Next To The Center, But The E8 Highway Separates It From The Central Structure. The Area Covers The Kulointe And Haunine Areas And Is Crossed By One Of Finlands Most Significant Main Road Connections, The E18 Turku Ring Road, Which Is Also Part Of The European Ten-T Core Network Corridor. The Area Includes Business And Business Areas Around The Turku Ring Road, The Raisionjokilaakso, The Former Water Works And The Sparse Residential Area Of Petterinpello With Its Historical Milieu. The Total Area Of The Competition Area Is 200.5 Ha.
