Tenders are invited for Proposed Procurement and Supply of assorted Textbooks and Journals Date Added: February 25, 2026 Deadline: 069/03/202 Category: Educational Supplies, Education & Learning 4.0 COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS Interested companies are to collect the Standard Bidding Document (SBD) from the office of the Director of Works, Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe on evidence of payment of a non-refundable tender fee of N10,000.00 per Lot, paid into the Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe at the Fidelity Bank with account Number 5060013006. A copy of payment receipt should be attached to the financial documents. 5.0 SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS Prospective bidders are to submit bid for the Lot, two (2) hard copies each of the technical and financial bids with softcopy of financial bid only in MS Excel format, packaged separately in sealed envelopes and clearly marked as Technical Bid or Financial Bid. Thereafter, put the two sealed envelopes together in a bigger sealed envelope addressed to the Provost, Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe, Anambra State and clearly marked with the name of the project and the Lot number. Furthermore, the reverse of each sealed envelope should bear the name and address of the bidder and drop in the designated Tender Box at the office of the Provost, Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe not later than 12:00 noon on Monday, 9th March, 2026. 6.0 OPENING OF TECHNICAL BIDS Only the technical bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission at 12:00 noon on Monday, 9th March, 2026 at the Council Chamber, Administrative Building Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe in the presence of bidders or their representatives, while the financial bids will be kept un-opened. Please, ensure that you sign the Bid Submission Register at room 210 Office of the Provost, Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe, as the Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe, Anambra State will not be held liable for misplaced or wrongly submitted bids. 7.0 GENERAL INFORMATION a. Bids must be in English Language and signed by an official authorised by the bidder; b. Bids submitted after the deadline for submission would be returned un-opened; c. All pages of bid documents must be initialled; d. All costs will be borne by the bidders; e. The implementation of the advertised projects is subject to availability of fund; f. Contractors with history of delay or abandonment of projects need not apply; g. Document shall be verified and violators shall be returned to investigating authorities; h. All bid documents must be initialled and paginated; i. Failure to comply with the above requirements would automatically result in disqualification; j. The advertisement shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe or shall it entitle tenderers to make any claims or seek any indemnity from Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe by virtue of their response to the advertisement; k. The Technical Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders or their representatives, CSOs in the areas of Anti-Corruption and Transparency and Private Professional bodies; and will be covered by video recording; invitation link will be sent to bidder who chooses to join the bid opening online; l. Only pre-qualified bidders at technical evaluation will be invited at a later date for financial bids opening, while the financial bids of un-successful bidders will be returned un-opened; m.
